Greenfield HallColonel Carl von Donop and his Hessian regiment camped here on October 21, 1777, prior to their illfated attack on Fort Mercer. The earliest part of the building dates to 1747, with a substantial addition in the mid-19th century. The Historical Society of Haddonfield is now headquartered here, displaying its collections, including Elizabeth Haddon's Queen Anne table and mirror. Next door the early 18th century Samuel Mickle House, the Society's library, houses early manuscripts, maps and deeds.
